Toshiba releases new Gigabeat V41

Toshiba has Launch a new Gigabeat in town, and this time it is the V41 to go under the spotlight. This portable media player sports a decent 3.5 inch QVGA TFT LCD display and comes with 4GB of internal memory. It also boasts an SD/SDHC memory card slot, letting you slip in an additional 8GB worth of media. You can also record video received from the integrated 1Seg TV tuner to either SDHC or internal memory, depending on which media has more space remaining. The Gigabeat V41 supports MP3, WMA, WMA 9 and WMV file formats. A built-in monaural speaker, an external antenna terminal (3.5mm mini- jack) and private stand to view as a TV rounds off the list of features. You can pick up the Toshiba Gigabeat V41 for approximately $257 when it is released in Japan next month on the 19th.

The Pretending Clock

Designer Jae-Hyung Yang has come out with a cuckoo clock that can be use as wrist watch, called the Pretending Clock.

It is a black and sleek cuckoo that comes with a detachable clock. The clock is actually the wrist watch, you can wear it on your wrist when you are out and put back as a wall clock when you’re back home.

Wi-Fi Detector Shirt

Aha! ThinkGeek is selling the Wi-Fi detector shirt. It is a black 100% Cotton T-Shirt that detects and displays the current wi-fi signal strength in glowing bars, showing the signal strength for 802.11b or 802.11g. You will need to follow the instruction for washing if not you are going to spoil the shirt.
